Braindead Buddies

You are a Horde of Zombies
These Are Your Stories

Tired of the same old hum-drum TTRPGs? Had enough of running around, saving towns, and helping the innocent? Well, why play a Hero when you could be a Horde of Zombies?

Welcome to Braindead Buddies!

Will you be a Family of Festering Flesh Fiends? A Jumble of Java Junkies? Maybe a Conclave of Comic-Con Connoisseurs? It’s all up to you! Requires paper, pencil, dice, and a sense of humor to play.

Based on the award-winning Polymorph System by 9th Level Games, Braindead Buddies keeps the gameplay simple and the role-playing fun.  The GM and players work together to choose what kind of zombies will run about the world.  Once decided, each player creates a Horde of Zombies to control.

Sick of zombies you say?  So is everyone who lived through the 2000s.  But there is no need to stick to the undead zombie trope.  You can run a game full of Coffee Junkies heck bent on getting to the last coffee shop in the city no matter what gets in their way.  Maybe a pack of Grumpy, Exhausted Teens forced to wake up before noon.   How about Space Puppies from Planet SoKute19?  Take them to your leader so they can lick his face.  Break the zombie mold (get it?  Moldy zombies?) and create your own havoc.

Braindead Buddies allows everyone at the table to set the scenario and goals, keeping the heavy setup duties off the GM's shoulders.  Once the scene is set each player creates their own Horde they control throughout the game.  Will your Horde be small and smart or big and dumb?  That's up to you.

The game is designed to be silly, fun, and short.  Play a session in an hour.  Now grab a copy and get your Horde out there.  This crazy old word isn't going to destroy itself, you know.
